AP Theory Group Tutoring
from Synthase
If you’re planning on taking the AP Theory exam, this class will give you the skills and knowledge to crush it. AP Theory is a university-level course, so it pays to study with Huijuan Ling, who has taught theory courses at Duke university. In these group sessions you’ll identify your strengths and weaknesses and reinforce skills through practice and activities. Topics covered include scales, chords, modes, harmony, voice leading, and form.

About Synthase Classes
Developed and taught by doctoral candidates at Yale and Duke, Synthase classes meet online in small groups (no more than eight) and follow an innovative pedagogical system that develops musical fluency while nurturing a love of music. All lessons and classes are open to students aged 13 and up.
